Gratitude Challenge, Day 29 of 100 “A Reasonably Healthy Dessert”

Today I’m grateful for the sweet taste of a bowl of strawberries, blueberries, with a touch of granola.  A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about the privlidge of being able to choose the grocery store where I shop and pretty much find whatever I want.

The produce section is always a site to behold!  Colors everywhere! Yes there are the strawberries and blueberries.  Bananas, apples, and oranges big as softballs.  Yellow peppers, green peppers, red peppers.  Mushrooms, tomatoes and much, much more!  All of this healthy food but I can still find a way to fit in the chips, salami, and red wine that keep my weight from being where I want it.

Since this post is about gratitude, I’m going to concentrate less on putting on weight and more on the satisfaction of fruit with a little bit but not too much granola.  What are you grateful for today?  Please leave your comments below and help us find that shining needle of common ground in that scary haystack of fear.
